Ottomans
An ottoman is a versatile piece of furniture that can be used in various rooms in your home.
· In the lounge, it not only provides additional seating but can also be used as a footstool and coffee table with the storage part lending itself as a place for magazines and games.
· In the bedroom, it’s perfect at the end of the bed. It provides a place to perch while putting on socks and shoes and again the storage element is incredibly useful for bed linens and blankets.
· In a hallway it offers additional storage for umbrellas, shoes, and coats, and again is a place to sit while putting on and taking off shoes or waiting for the kids to be ready for school!
Style-wise they can be plain, deep buttoned, and finished with piping or decorative nails and they are a great place to go bold or have more fun with your fabrics.
Footstools
If you don’t require the storage element a simple footstool can be a fabulous addition to a room. Not only are they incredibly practical but they can be utilised to pull a scheme together and perhaps be a place to either use a more expensive fabric or be a bit more daring with a pop colour or bold pattern.
An upholstered footstool doubles up as a great coffee table and really can add that finishing touch to a room.

Creating your custom headboard
The process starts with an initial conversation over email or phone to discuss your ideas, thoughts and requirements (don’t worry if these aren’t very developed – that’s what we are here for!). At this stage we will email you our shape guide or alternatively if you already have a shape in mind you can send us an image or sketch.
The next step is a home consultation. During this consultation Mark will measure your space and discuss his recommendations relating to size and create a template. Jo will be able to discuss fabric ideas and finishing details. You may also want some scatter cushions for the bed which we would also be happy to discuss, design and supply.
At this stage we have enough information to provide you with a quote which will be emailed out to you followed by fabric ideas/swatches sent through the post.
If you decide it’s necessary, we can provide a visual of your headboard and any additional scatter cushions you may have ordered.
All of our headboards are wall hung. Our experienced team will come and install your headboard and move your bed into position for you. We will then remove all the packaging so that it can be recycled.
